Chipmunks In The Woods is looking for an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our Burwood Early Learning Centre.

We are seeking a confident, organised and supportive leader who can build a positive team culture while ensuring the centre provides high-quality education and care for every child.

About the Role

As Centre Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the centre.

Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting the centre team
Building a positive and qualified team culture
Maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework and Regulations
Supporting high-quality educational programs and practices
Managing staffing, rosters and daily operations
Supporting recruitment and staff development
Building strong relationships with children and families
Supporting enrolments and centre occupancy
Maintaining a safe, welcoming and well-presented environment
Working closely with the Operations and Management Team

About You

We are looking for someone who:




Holds a Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an approved equivalent
Has previous leadership experience within an Early Learning Centre
Has a robust understanding of the NQF and National Quality Standards
Is confident leading, mentoring and supporting a team
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
Is passionate about providing high-quality education and care
Holds a current Working with Children Check and required industry certifications
