As Deputy Registrar you will:

Provide strong effective leadership to the Magistrates and District courts at Ipswich;
Assist to manage the daily operations (including the coordination of court proceedings), of the magistrate's court and district court registry as applicable;
Contribute to a culture of excellence in service delivery, innovation and continuous improvement;
Ensure compliance with all administrative systems including data integrity, and adhering to processes and procedures by establishing and communicating transparent objectives and guidelines, monitoring performance indicators, taking corrective action where required and reviewing procedures;
Build and maintain skilled and team-oriented relationships with judicial officers, courts' users, community groups and stakeholders to provide effective service delivery and support;
Undertake transparent financial,



human resource, data and risk management practices;
Support the Registrar with workforce planning, performance management, staff development and mentoring frameworks within the registry delivering Queensland Courts and Tribunals strategic and operational goals;
Perform statutory duties of Justice of the Peace, Clerk of the Court and Registrar as required;
Represent the department on committees and at meetings as required;
Any other reasonable tasks as delegated by the Senior Registrar or Deputy Senior Registrar
