About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to provide procurement, commercial and contract management support across a large-scale ICT program. You will work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, suppliers and procurement teams to ensure procurements are compliant, commercially sound and deliver value for money.

Initial contract until February 2027, with likely extension through to February 2028.

Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate procurement activities including RFQs, tenders, evaluations, contract establishment and variations
Provide procurement, commercial and contract management advice to project teams and stakeholders
Support vendor negotiations, contract renewals, extensions and procurement planning
Monitor contract obligations, milestones, deliverables, supplier performance and service levels




Track expenditure, financial commitments, invoices and forecasts
Prepare procurement documentation, governance papers, reports and briefing materials
Identify and manage procurement and contract risks
Maintain complete and auditable procurement and contract records
Support continuous improvement across procurement processes and governance practices

Requirements
Experience in procurement, contract management, commercial support or project administration
Government or highly regulated procurement experience is highly regarded
Robust understanding of procurement processes, contract management, supplier performance and commercial governance
Experience supporting end-to-end procurement activities, including evaluation and contract administration
Ability to interpret contract terms and monitor supplier obligations
Robust stakeholder engagement, communication and organisational skills
ICT, digital transformation or skilled services procurement experience is advantageous
Procurement Certification Level 3 or relevant qualifications are desirable
