Leckie Law is a boutique law firm located in Coffs Harbour on the beautiful Mid North Coast located halfway between Sydney and Brisbane.

The Principal lawyer is a family law accredited specialist who has been practicing for over 25 years. She worked for one of the largest firms on the Mid North Coast and after 10 years with them decided that the big firm approach was not for her. She wanted to focus on helping people through the most difficult time in their life (divorce) with support, compassion and practical legal advice. She opened her own legal practice about 13 years ago. The practice is busy and offers services in:
family law property and children's matters
conveyancing
estate planning
divorce
mediations; and
legal aid.

The firm's moto is "the firm that cares."

Leckie Law is looking for another member to join the team who is eager to provide high quality service in a timely and qualified manner.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant will require:




an eye for detail with ability to produce high quality consistently accurate work
initiative and motivation to perform the work required
ability to work within a team
experience with legal software- Leap preferrable
IT skills
prior legal experience preferrable
good customer service

Tasks and Responsibilities

The day to day duties of the successful candidate will include:
dairy management
transcribing dictations
answering telephones
liaising with clients, courts and other firms
filing documents with the court
management of files - compiling disclosure, drafting pleadings and filing
attending to emails
