Critch Automotive Group is seeking a qualified and motivated Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing workshop. We are a busy, contemporary automotive repair and servicing centre committed to delivering exceptional customer service and quality workmanship.

About the Role

As a Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Key Tasks & Duties
Perform routine servicing and maintenance on light vehicles.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements.
Carry out brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, and engine repairs.
Replace and repair vehicle components as required.
Perform battery testing and replacement.
Complete tyre-related work where required.
Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and recommend solutions.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer specifications.
Maintain accurate job records and complete repair documentation.




Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with workplace safety standards.
Assist with fleet maintenance and servicing programs.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs.

Skills & Experience
Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship.
Roadworthy certification (desirable but not essential).
