We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Cashier / Shop Assistant to join our supermarket team in Paddington.

About the Role

As a Cashier / Shop Assistant, you’ll be an important part of our store team, helping create a welcoming experience for our customers while keeping the checkout and store running smoothly.

Your duties may include:
Serving customers at the checkout in a friendly and efficient manner
Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately
Providing a high level of customer service
Restocking shelves and keeping the store well presented
Receiving deliveries and unpacking pallets
Assisting with general supermarket duties as required
Working as part of a friendly and supportive team

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:
18 years or older




Holds a current NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate or willing to get one
Friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with customers
Reliable, punctual and responsible
Well presented and professional
A valuable communicator and team player
Able to work in a busy retail workplace
Happy to assist with a variety of tasks around the supermarket

Previous supermarket, retail or cashier experience will be highly regarded.
