Waitstaff – Osaka Trading Co.

Osaka Trading Co. is a casual Japanese restaurant located in the Tramsheds, Forest Lodge. We’re open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, and we’re looking for a dedicated waitstaff/host to join our team.

We’re seeking someone who is customer-focused, eager to learn, and confident in a busy, rapid-paced setting. You’ll report directly to the Venue Manager and play a key role in creating a welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and seating guests at the door
Managing and adjusting reservations on the night
Taking orders and processing payments
Running food and drinks
Assisting with beverage service (beers, wines, bottles)
Resetting and preparing tables
Supporting opening and closing floor procedures

Requirements:
Current RSA
Availability Friday & Saturday nights
Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages
Ability to carry a tray confidently
Comfortable engaging with guests and upselling

About You:




2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant
Proactive, takes initiative, and thinks ahead
Strong multitasking and communication skills
