An exciting opportunity presents itself to Scouts Victoria. The Container Deposit Scheme, established in Victoria in 2023, is closely aligned with Scouting values and environmental objectives. The scheme provides charities, community groups, environmental organisations, sports groups and educational organisations with current and easy ways to raise funds. Scouts Victoria aims to manage multiple depots around Victoria, utilising this prospect to maximise its own revenue stream to better support our groups and youth.

The Customer Experience Officers are responsible for all aspects of daily operations within our refunds depots. Our Carnegie depot hosts three self serve processing machines. You will be responsible for greeting customers, managing throughputs, assisting customers with their deposit, general duties as required.

The successful candidates will have an unwavering customer centric focus and take pride in the depot presentation, objectives and values.



You will not be afraid of working in a fast paced workplace and will also have great flexibility across weekends as well as multiple weekdays.

Key Responsibilities:
Attending recycling depot service area
Attending customer enquiries
Assisting customers with operational instructions
General cleaning and maintenance
Attending phone and walk in enquiries
Supporting Depot Manager
Other general duties as required

This position requires the staff member to:
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, customers, and suppliers
Physical ability to lift and process returns
Maintain OHS obligations and practices
Satisfactory Police Check
Valid Working with Children Check Card

Pay: $31.00 – $34.00 per hour

Experience:
customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (Preferred)
