Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping environments safe, functional, and welcoming? Autumn Aged Care is seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Officer to join our team and help ensure our residents enjoy a comfortable, well-maintained home.

About the Role

As our Maintenance Officer, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day upkeep of our facility. Your responsibilities will be varied, including:
General repairs, furniture assembly, and minor fix-it tasks
Light electrical and plumbing duties
Equipment and facility maintenance
Grounds and garden upkeep
Liaising with external contractors and managing service bookings
Overseeing preventative and essential maintenance programs
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation

This role suits someone who enjoys working independently, can prioritise tasks well, and is committed to creating a protected, high-quality setting for residents and staff.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an applicant with:




Strong general maintenance experience (aged care experience highly regarded)
A good understanding of OH&S; policies and secure working practices
Knowledge of manual handling requirements
The ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a supportive team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
