FULL-TIME CHEF – MIKAZUKI MODERN JAPANESE Location: Melrose Park, Sydney Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per annum + superannuation

Mikazuki Modern Japanese is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team.

THE ROLE
Plan menus and oversee food preparation and cooking
Manage daily kitchen operations in accordance with the roster
Work assigned shifts as scheduled
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
Supervise, train and support kitchen staff
Manage stock control and conduct regular stocktakes
Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety and occupational health and safety requirements
Maintain portion control, presentation and consistency across all dishes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
Diploma of Hospitality Management

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
Experience with Japanese cuisine is preferred
Highly organised, reliable and professional




Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Flexible availability to work rostered shifts
Sound knowledge of food safety and HACCP requirements
