Baan Kitchen & Bar is a hugely popular Vietnamese Restaurant servicing Australind and surrounding suburbs. We are looking for a Cook to join our energetic kitchen crew. Under the direction of the director, the Cook will perform cooking and kitchen duties to maintain our restaurant standards.

Key responsibilities
Examine ingredients and food produce to ensure and maintain freshness and quality
Store and maintain the freshness of ingredients and food produce appropriately including freezing them
Prepare and cook food and dishes on our menu
Season and cook food and dishes to restaurant standard
Portion the serve for each dish
Plate and present dishes
Cook food to specific diners' requirements or requests on occasions
Plan and change our menu from time to time
Estimate and order ingredients and food produce on a regular basis
Train kitchen or other staff in the kitchen
Such other duties as may be incidental to the work of a Cook.

About you
Minimum formal qualification to work as a Cook (by formal qualification or work experience)
At least 1 year of work experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred
