Independent Living Specialists (ILS) is one of Australia's leading providers of Assistive Technology solutions, helping people live more independently through innovative mobility, rehabilitation and healthcare equipment. We are continuing to grow and are looking for great people to join our team.
We are currently seeking a full time Warehouse Assembly Technician to join our team in Eastern Creek, NSW. This hands-on role involves assembling, configuring and maintaining complex rehabilitation equipment, ensuring it is prepared and ready for customer demonstrations and trials. You'll work closely with our clinical and warehouse teams to help deliver life-changing solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities will include
Assembling and disassembling manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, seating systems and associated accessories
Preparing demonstration and trial equipment for customer appointments
Completing equipment adjustments, customisations and minor modifications where required
Performing routine preventative maintenance on demonstration equipment
Identifying equipment faults and coordinating repairs
Ensuring all equipment is clean, functional and trial-ready
Maintaining accurate asset registers, equipment records and storage locations
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, workshop or technical support
Experience assembling, adjusting, repairing or maintaining equipment
Robust organisational and time management skills
A high level of attention to detail
A current forklift licence
A current Australian driver’s licence
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Experience working with assistive technology, mobility equipment, rehabilitation products or within the healthcare sector would be highly regarded but is not essential.
