About the role

As a Tyre Fitter, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient fitting, balancing, and repair of tyres for a range of vehicles — from passenger cars to 4WDs and light commercial vehicles. You'll play a key role in delivering excellent service to our customers and keeping our workshop running smoothly.

Key responsibilities
Remove, fit, and balance tyres on cars, 4WDs, and light commercial vehicles.
Inspect tyres for wear, damage, and safety issues, and advise on repairs or replacements.
Perform wheel alignments (or assist with alignments, depending on experience).
Carry out puncture repairs and valve replacements.
Rotate tyres and check tyre pressures as part of routine servicing.
Use tyre fitting and balancing equipment safely and correctly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop area.
Provide friendly, helpful service to customers, explaining work performed where needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Assist with stock control and receiving tyre deliveries as required.

About you




Previous experience as a tyre fitter (preferred but not essential — trade or on-the-job training will be considered for the right candidate).
A valid driver's licence (manual preferred).
Physical fitness — the role involves lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
A strong work ethic and reliable, punctual attitude.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well in a team workplace.
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
Wheel alignment experience (desirable).
Forklift licence (desirable).
Previous experience with a major tyre brand (desirable).
