About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Aged or Disabled Carer to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful applicant will provide personal care and daily support to clients, while promoting their dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Accompany clients during day-to-day routines, outings, and community activities
Support clients with secure mobility, including transfers and movement around the home or
outdoors
Assist with meal planning and basic food preparation to meet nutritional needs
Organise and participate in social and recreational activities tailored to clients’ interests
Perform light household tasks such as tidying, vacuuming, and general cleaning




Help with personal hygiene routines including showering, dressing, and grooming
Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental and emotional wellbeing
Run local errands and assist with grocery shopping when required
In some cases, provide live-in support to ensure continuity of care and safety

Skills and Qualifications:
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field
At least a year of relevant experience in disability or aged care support
Ability to provide high-quality, person-focused care
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Current First Aid and CPR certifications
National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
Flexibility to work shifts across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
