Pursers Travel Group is growing, and we’re looking for passionate Travel Consultants to join our Greenslopes store. Family‑owned and operated for over 25 years, we’re part of a network of 17 Helloworld stores across Queensland—offering the support of a major brand with the feel of a close‑knit team and community of travel.

This is an exciting growth phase, with strong opportunities to learn, earn and progress. Experienced consultants and career‑changers with strong sales skills are encouraged to apply.

About the Role & Key Responsibilities:
Handling new enquiries, itinerary planning, changes, and quotes
Booking flights, tours, cruises, packages, insurance and more
Managing supplier communication, payments, and documentation
Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
Confidently cross-selling and upselling travel options
Providing excellent customer service at every touchpoint

Skills

Experienced Travel Consultant

Skills & Qualifications:
Leisure travel consultant experience, ideally in a retail store setting
Amadeus GDS preferred or strong airfare knowledge (not essential)




Good office skills
Customer service skills, ideally in-person and over the phone
Strong airfare knowledge
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Non‑Experienced Candidates are encouraged to apply
Preferred sales skills and qualifications suitable
Experience in high‑performing sales roles (retail, real estate, hospitality, call centre, B2B, etc.)
Proven conversion results in a quick‑paced environment
Confidence, enthusiasm, and a solid work ethic
Willingness to learn, be coached, and grow within the travel industry
