Job Description:

Baba Shrichand 3 Pty Ltd is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef for Indian Curry Hutt Restaurant, a busy restaurant, located in Logan, Qld. We are dedicated to finding the best talent for our restaurant and providing excellent career opportunities for our candidates.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in the culinary arts. They will be responsible for creating and preparing high-quality dishes, overseeing the kitchen operations, and managing a team of kitchen staff. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as the ability to create and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Create and prepare high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards
Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area
Collaborate with restaurant management to develop recent menu items and specials




Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely manner
Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
Continuously strive to improve and innovate in the kitchen

Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant
Certificate IV in Culinary/commercial cookery or above
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Creative and innovative mindset
Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Australian working rights

We offer a competitive salary of $72500 to 76500 plus Superannuation for this full-time position.
