Trades Assistant – Cutting Shop & Fabrication

Precisionscreen are leaders in the design and manufacture of mobile screening, washing, crushing and recycling equipment for the quarry, mining, extractive, materials handling and recycling industries. We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Trades Assistant to join our Cutting Shop & Fabrication team at our Head Office based in Wacol.

About The Role:
CNC plasma cutting and processing of steel components
Loading and unloading the plasma cutter
Basic fabrication, welding and grinding
Reading and working from drawings
Assisting with the manufacture of mobile crushing & screening equipment and parts
Moving and handling materials using forklifts and workshop equipment
General workshop maintenance, housekeeping and cleaning

About You:
Experience in fabrication, welding or experience operating, loading and unloading CNC plasma cutting equipment
Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised
Current drivers licence




Forklift licence essential
