About the role

Continuous growth in our workshop has created openings for Tradespersons and Trades Assistants to join our Asset Management & Manufacturing team. These are full-time permanent positions based in Adelaide.

You'll manufacture recent water treatment assets and associated equipment for field deployment, repair/refurbish returned assets, work alongside skilled subcontractors and the commissioning team, and build expertise across a genuinely multidisciplinary setting. The role develops into supervisory assignments as experience grows. Water treatment experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

Your responsibilities
Support the Workshop Manager across all workshop tasks
Manufacture and modify water treatment plants using your trade skills
Prepare plants for deployment and repair/refurbish plants upon return to base
Supervise and work alongside mechanical and electrical subcontractors




Collaborate with the commissioning team during plant testing
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
Manage workshop facilities including water service systems and air compressors
Support membrane cleaning and plant recovery work

Skills & experience
Trade qualification in mechanical discipline — pipe fabrication/welding (SS tube/pipe, PVC), pipefitting, welding (SS/MS), poly welding (BW/EF), or mechanics (equipment install/refurbishment) (certificate qualifications accepted for Trades Assistant role). Experience with orbital welding would be an advantage
Certificate qualifications accepted for Trades Assistant role
Current forklift licence
Current driver's licence
A few years of industry experience is ideal; extensive experience equally welcome
Willingness to take on routine tasks while engaging in varied, challenging work
