Are you an experienced asset management, maintenance or facilities professional looking to lead a high‑profile statewide program? We are partnering with a large Queensland Government organisation seeking a Team Leader to oversee the delivery, governance and performance of a maintenance program supporting education facilities across the state. This role offers the opportunity to lead maintenance planning, funding oversight, stakeholder engagement and program performance within a complex asset setting.

To October 2027

Hours:

38-hour week

Pay Rate:

Up to $87.54/hr + Super

Working within a cooperative infrastructure team, you will oversee maintenance requests and planned works, provide strategic advice to stakeholders, monitor program performance, manage funding and expenditure, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and standards.

Key Skills & Experience:
Experience in maintenance, facilities management, asset management or infrastructure program delivery
Strong governance, financial management and risk management capability
Experience managing contractors, stakeholders and competing priorities
Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills




Ability to provide explicit, practical advice to a broad range of stakeholders
Leadership experience within operational, maintenance or infrastructure environments

Highly Regarded:
Government, education, health or community infrastructure experience
Asset lifecycle, maintenance planning or facilities management experience
Experience preparing reports, briefs and funding recommendations

Mandatory Requirement:
Current Blue Card, or ability to obtain one prior to commencement
