The Prospect This is an excellent chance to join a well-established, Australian-owned FMCG organisation experiencing ongoing growth and transformation. Sitting within a high-quality finance function, the Supply Chain Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting operational performance and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
As Finance Manager, you will act as a trusted business partner to supply chain leadership, providing insight, analysis and financial support across areas including inventory, warehousing, freight and distribution. The role offers strong exposure to operational decision-making and the opportunity to influence business outcomes through data-driven insight.
The Challenge
Reporting into senior supply chain leadership, this role will encompass a broad and hands-on remit, including:
Developing business cases and financial models, including NPV analysis, to assess operational and strategic initiatives
Performing commercial analysis across supply chain costs, productivity, pricing and freight
Delivering insightful weekly and month-end reporting to support business decision-making
Preparing high-quality management and Board-level reporting
Playing a key role in budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning across the supply chain
Analysing freight, warehousing and distribution costs to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities
Driving the ongoing development and improvement of supply chain reporting and processes
The Expertise To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
CA or CPA qualification
Experience in a similar finance or commercial role within FMCG, retail, manufacturing or another supply-chain-driven environment
Solid business partnering capability and the confidence to work closely with senior operational and commercial stakeholders
Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear and actionable insights
A proactive approach to continuous improvement, systems and process enhancement
A cooperative and energetic style suited to a fast-paced, commercially focused workplace
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
