An established and well-regarded commercial builder is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to take ownership of a $20M+ project in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

This is a genuine opportunity to join a stable business with a strong pipeline and work on a technically interesting project from commencement through to completion.

The Project
$20M+ commercial construction project
Below-ground basement
Two-level build
18+ month construction programme
Opportunity to roll straight onto the next stage/project following completion

The Role You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of site, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and client to ensure the project is delivered safely, to a high standard and on programme.

You'll be responsible for
Managing and coordinating subcontractors and trades
Driving programme and construction sequencing
Maintaining quality and OH&S; standards
Coordinating consultants and resolving site issues
Reading and interpreting construction drawings
Managing site documentation and reporting
Maintaining strong client relationships
Holding subcontractors accountable and ensuring works remain on programme





About You We're looking for someone with:
5+ years' Site Supervisor experience – ideally 8–10+ years
Experience delivering $20M+ commercial projects
Strong technical construction knowledge
A trade background, ideally carpentry
Experience with complex commercial construction
Ideally education, community, health or similar project experience
Experience with basements and/or complex structural works
Strong subcontractor management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A stable employment history and genuine interest in long-term prospects
