About the role

Rockingham Paint Place is looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team in a casual or part time position. The role will initially be approximately 16–32 hours per week, with the chance for additional hours as you become more experienced and the role develops.

Key responsibilities
Serving customers and providing friendly, helpful service
Mixing and tinting paint
Operating our POS and computer systems
Picking and packing customer orders
Receiving and putting away stock
Maintaining a clean and organised store
General day-to-day duties as required

About you
Friendly, approachable and comfortable dealing with customers
Reliable and willing to learn
Able to work well as part of a small team
Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
Able to perform the physical aspects of the role, including lifting and moving paint and stock
Valuable attention to detail
Previous paint, hardware, retail, automotive or trade industry experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential
