Your new role
As a Production Planner / Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure customer delivery requirements are met while balancing manufacturing capacity and workflow priorities. Working closely with operations, engineering, projects, purchasing, and inventory teams, you will coordinate production activities, monitor progress, identify constraints, and support efficient shop floor operations.
Key responsibilities include
Develop and maintain master production schedules
Coordinate workflow across machining, assembly, inspection, and manufacturing functions
Track production progress and adjust schedules as required
Provide regular production status updates to stakeholders
Identify and resolve scheduling risks and bottlenecks
Support continuous improvement initiatives across production operations
Maintain production planning data, job cards, and reporting systems
What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you'll bring:
Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination
Robust organisational and time-management skills
Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience using ERP systems and production planning tools
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
