Mt Cotton Quarry, a part of Barro Group – is seeking to engage a Quarry Weighbridge Operator.

Excellent base wage overtime and leave accruals.

We are looking for a hands on person who likes customer service and has most probably had a previous background in the trucking, quarrying or transport industries as either a driver, operator or administrator.

The key responsibilities:
Operate computer-based weighbridge system - taking accurate customer phone orders and effecting delivery of products
Schedule truck loads
Assit with some quarry safety inductions for contractors, truck drivers and visitors
Undertake day-to-day administration activities
Multi task and at times work under pressure to meet customer requirements
Answer phone calls and provide customer support
Work as part of a small team
Work adaptable schedule including regular Saturday mornings
Must be reliable and punctual
Follow company systems including working safely
