Main responsibilities and duties:
Operating and monitoring the brake press with precision and efficiency
Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape components according to technical drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings accurately.
Work within precise tolerances (±1mm and ±0.3°) to ensure high-quality output.
Physically handle, lift, and support long or large parts during the folding process.
Select and change dies and tools based on material thickness and type.
Ensuring all work meets quality standards and production targets
Performing routine maintenance on brake press equipment and troubleshooting on the brake press equipment
Identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions in a timely manner
Collaborating with the production team to ensure smooth workflow
Adhering to all health, safety,



and quality assurance protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
A current Australian forklift licence

What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting
Minimum of 3 years of brake press operator experience required.
Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to operate complex machinery
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced production setting
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
Good communication and teamwork skills
Must hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency to be eligible for this position
