Your duties will include:
Conduct weed control using manual, chemical, and mechanical methods
Identify and remove invasive and priority weed species
Manage vegetation to maintain required rail corridor clearances
Remove native vegetation where required for rail safety and set-back requirements
Safely use hand tools, brush cutters, sprayers, herbicides,



and machinery
Follow rail safety procedures, environmental legislation, and council guidelines
Monitor and report weed growth, vegetation conditions, and completed works
Maintain records of work completed and herbicide use

To be successful in this role, you might have:
A Current Drivers’ licence and own transport
National Police Check
White Card (required or willing to obtain)
RISI/RIW Ticket (preferred or willing to obtain)
Chem Cert preferred
Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or Bachelors (Highly Desirable)
