We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our busy specialist ENT & Facial Plastic Surgeon practice in Subiaco. For the right candidate, this role offers an exciting prospect to progress into a Practice Manager position, taking on greater responsibility and playing a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the practice. Working three to four days a week and able to work autonomously as well as part of the team.
Key responsibilities
Ensure the efficient running of the practice
Provide excellent service to patients
Reception work, greeting patients, receiving phone calls & emails
Managing appointment book including general appointments & surgery bookings
Managing theatre lists for different hospitals, liaising with patients, anaesthetists, hospital staff & other personnel
Practice billing & quotes for surgery
Banking & debt collection
General admin & secretarial support as required
About you
A high standard of integrity & an excellent work ethic
Pleasant & bright personality with compassion and empathy
Professional standard of personal presentation
Great interpersonal & communication skill (verbally and written)
Computer literate, especially Window based
Valuable organisation & time management
Ability to prioritise workload & multitask
Attention to detail
Good marketing ability including email-based inquiries
Managing paperless practice with Genie Specialist Medical software preferable
Minimum 2 years' experience
