HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading specialist insurance litigation firm seeking a Senior Associate – Motor Vehicle Insurance to join its Sydney team.

The role will focus primarily on defendant motor vehicle property claims and will suit an experienced insurance litigator who understands both the legal and commercial drivers of insurer portfolios.

You will work across matters including:

Recovery agent claims
n
Credit hire and credit repair disputes
n
Liability and quantum disputes
n
Indemnity issues
n
Heavy motor and commercial vehicle matters
n
Contaminated fuel and complex property damage claims
n
Settlement strategy and negotiated resolution
n
Local Court proceedings and hearings
n

About You

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
Senior Associate-level insurance litigation experience
n
Strong experience in motor vehicle insurance litigation
n
Experience managing a busy litigation portfolio with autonomy
n
Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
n
Confidence dealing directly with insurer clients and claims teams
n
Sound commercial judgement
n




Experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers
n
A practical approach to dispute resolution and claims strategy
n
