Royal on the Park is a 4.5 star independent hotel located in the heart of Brisbane, offering stunning views of the city skyline and the Botanic Gardens. With a history dating back to the 1960s, we are one of Brisbane's most sought-after hotels, and we pride ourselves on exceptional service and memorable guest experiences.

We are looking for an experienced Guest Services Agent to join our Front Office team on a full time or part time basis. This role will suit a well-rounded hospitality professional with the flexibility and experience to work a variety of shifts in reception.

The Role

Key responsibilities include
Attending to the needs of arriving and departing guests
Administrative duties and cashiering
Answering phones and handling enquiries
Creating new reservations and updating existing
Providing guests with information about the hotel and its surroundings
Resolving guest complaints and following up to ensure a positive outcome
Liaising with other departments, including housekeeping and concierge, to meet guest needs

About You
Previous experience in a similar role
Previous experience with Opera Cloud PMS highly regarded




A passion for providing every guest with a positive experience
Exceptional personal presentation and grooming standards
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
The ability to work professionally under pressure
Excellent communication skills
The ability to lift and handle luggage
Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
