Junior Chef – Part time / Casual

Plus 82 Pocha is looking for a reliable Junior Chef to join our kitchen team in Adelaide CBD.

This position is suitable for someone who has previous commercial kitchen experience and is currently studying or has completed a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily food preparation and mise en place

Basic knife work and ingredient preparation

Assist with fryer and basic cooking duties during service

Follow recipes, portioning and preparation standards

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen

Follow food safety, hygiene, FIFO and labelling procedures

Assist senior chefs during busy service periods

Requirements

Currently studying or completed Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent

Previous commercial kitchen experience is required





Valuable basic knife and food preparation skills

Basic understanding of commercial kitchen operations and food safety

Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

Able to work efficiently in a busy workplace

Evening and weekend availability

Employment Type: Part-time / Casual

Expected Hours: Approximately 15–25 hours per week

Korean or Asian cuisine experience is an advantage but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
