Field Technician Prospects

About the role

Geological Solutions is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Field Technicians to join our energetic team on a variety of commodity projects across Queensland. These positions offer flexibility and the chance to work across diverse exploration and mining projects

As a Field Technician you will play an essential role in field operations, data collection and project delivery activities that directly contribute to the success of our clients' exploration and mining projects across coal, metals and bulk commodities. This is hands-on work that requires attention to detail, reliability and a strong commitment to safety in dynamic field environments.

Key responsibilities
Conduct fieldwork activities including, site inspections, site setup, general site maintenance and demobilisation.
Assist with sample collection,



core handling, core mark-up and sample dispatch in accordance with project specifications and safety protocols
Maintain transparent communication with project teams and ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Field Technician, Project Coordinator or in a similar mining, exploration or field-based role.
MR driver’s licence or higher (HR, HC, etc.)
Forklift licence (highly desirable)
Current First Aid/CPR qualifications
Competency in the use of field equipment
