Our company - Novolec Electrical and Complete Maintenance

Based in Newcastle, we are seeking a handyperson for a permanent position commencing ASAP. The role will be across different residential and commercial facilities in Newcastle.

Your role

Repair and maintain residential and commercial facilities and demonstrate a can-do easy approach to problem solving in a timely and productive manner. You will be required to undertake a wide and diverse array of work.

Preferred experience/qualifications

Trade qualification (desired)
Previous professional work experience as a handyperson
Police Check (within the last 6 months, or willing to obtain immediately)
Current driver's license
Experience in facilities maintenance

Good time management, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication with interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of people
Ability to work under minimum supervision
The ability to work unsupervised
Availability to work full time Monday to Friday
Must have own tools
A strong work ethic and the ability to prioritise workloads efficiently
The flexibility to deal with changing priorities
A commitment to WHS standards and quality customer service
Robust attention to detail and sense of pride in your work
Excellent grooming and presentation at all times
The ability to work in a team setting where required
