Role Description This full time Automotive Mechanic role at Combined Auto Repairs is an on-site position based in Kingsgrove, NSW.

The Automotive

Mechanic will perform routine vehicle inspections, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and carry out maintenance and repair work on a range of vehicles.

Responsibilities include using diagnostic tools and equipment, ordering and fitting parts, conducting road tests to verify repairs, and completing accurate service records. The role involves working safely in a workshop setting, collaborating with team members, and communicating clearly with customers about vehicle issues, repair options, and timeframes to support solid customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair, including scheduled services and preventive care.




Proficiency in Automotive Repair and general Automotive systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, understandable language.
Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in automotive mechanics, and experience working in a professional workshop setting.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and the right to work in Australia.
