About the role

Rowlee is seeking an experienced and energetic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Rowlee Dining & Bar, our restaurant located on the Rowlee wine estate in Orange, NSW. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves being on the floor, delivering exceptional hospitality and helping a team perform at its best. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, leading service, supporting and developing the front-of-house team and ensuring every guest receives the warm, polished and knowledgeable hospitality Rowlee is known for.

Key responsibilities
Lead restaurant services and be a visible, hands-on presence on the floor
Supervise, motivate and support the front-of-house team
Help deliver consistently high standards of service and guest experience
Assist with daily restaurant operations, opening and closing procedures
Coordinate effectively with the kitchen, cellar door and wider Rowlee team
Assist with staff training, development and service standards
Manage guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally
Support functions, wine dinners and special events




Maintain presentation, cleanliness and operational standards throughout the venue
Step into the Restaurant Manager's responsibilities when required

About you
Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Supervisor or senior front-of-house professional
Confident leading a service and enjoy working alongside your team
Understanding that excellent hospitality comes from attention to detail, genuine care and strong communication
Wine knowledge is highly regarded, although enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important
Current NSW RSA is required
