BARISTA/CAFÉ ALLROUNDER - PART TIME ROLE

Wattaka Café is seeking an experienced Barista to join the café team. We’re looking for someone with a passion for coffee, a love of customer service, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Location & Cafe Opening Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 2:00pm
Conveniently located in the heart of Singleton

What you will be doing:
Supporting the Café Team in the smooth running of the café and catering services
Preparing and serve a variety of coffee, drinks and café foods
Greeting customers warmly, take orders politely, and process payments efficiently
Promoting and upselling Wattaka services & catering services
Assisting in preparing external catering orders as required
Maintain stock levels and rotation




Keeping Front of House and Barista areas clean and inviting
Working cooperatively with supported employees to deliver high-quality products and services
Attending team meetings and contribute positively to the café culture

Punctual & reliable
Respectful and supportive towards all customers and other staff members
Honest, trustworthy, and eager to learn and grow with our team
Confident in representing Wattaka Café in a positive way

Education, Qualification & Experience
1+ years’ experience as a Barista
Possess an Accredited or Unaccredited Barista Certificate or recognition
An understanding of food safety and stock rotation
Applicants will need to obtain a Paid Working with Children Check, Police Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencing the role
Current Drivers Licence
