About the Client
Our client is a well-established Australian healthcare provider delivering essential in-home and community-based services to individuals and families. Due to an increased workload, they are seeking an experienced and immediately available Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team on a contract through to the end of June 2027.
This role will form part of a collaborative Accounts Receivable team, assisting with maintaining accurate customer accounts, resolving enquiries and supporting day-to-day AR operations. The position offers the prospect to work from home, with working hours of 7:30am–3:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to a high volume of inbound calls and emails from customers and internal stakeholders regarding account enquiries
Manage and resolve customer disputes through the organisation’s dispute resolution system
Process credit card payments over the phone and manage direct debit form submissions
Reconcile customer accounts and provide account statements upon request
Set up new client accounts and process credit notes as required
Assist with reconciliations and reporting tasks using Excel
Skills and Experience
Previous Accounts Receivable or finance administration experience required
Strong communication skills and confidence handling customer enquiries
High attention to detail with the ability to reconcile accounts accurately
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Teams and Excel
Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a team environment
Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a cooperative team culture
Reliable and dependable, with a suitable work-from-home set-up and the ability to work independently and remain connected with the broader team
