SYLC Construction is a growing and established concrete construction company delivering high-quality concrete, formwork and structural construction projects across Perth.

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team and play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of our projects.

About the role

Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will be responsible for managing projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring commercial outcomes, contractual obligations and project requirements are met.

Key responsibilities
Managing contracts, variations, claims and progress claims
Preparing and reviewing subcontractor and supplier agreements
Monitoring project costs, budgets and financial performance
Managing contractual correspondence and documentation
Reviewing scopes, drawings, specifications and contract requirements
Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
Assisting with tendering, procurement and project forecasting
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, builders, subcontractors and suppliers
Working closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully




Supporting project close-out and final accounts

About you
Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator within commercial or civil construction
Experience working with concrete, formwork or structural construction is highly regarded
Robust understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Solid communication and negotiation skills
The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
A proactive approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong Microsoft Office skills
