The Role

We are seeking reliable Blueberry Pickers to join a busy agriculture operation in Wamuran, QLD. This is a hands-on, physical role working in an outdoor farm setting alongside a supportive team focused on quality, productivity and safe work practices. You will assist with harvesting and handling blueberries while also supporting general farm activities as required.

Key Responsibilities

Your main focus will be picking high-quality blueberries and ensuring produce is carefully handled and prepared for the packing shed. You will also assist with a range of general farm duties throughout the season.
Identify and pick ripe, firm and fully blue blueberries
Place harvested blueberries carefully into picking buckets
Sort blueberries at picking stations and check produce quality before it is sent to the packing shed
Complete weeding and tipping duties as required
Maintain quality standards throughout the picking process
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Assist with other general farm hand duties as required

Benefits
Competitive $33.05 per hour penalty rates




Approximately 2 months of seasonal work
Consistent work with approximately 38 hours per week

Your Skills & Experience
Previous fruit picking or agricultural experience is highly regarded
Experience with picking and quality assurance is desirable
Solid attention to produce quality and careful handling
Ability to complete repetitive, physical and outdoor work
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
Commitment to following workplace health and safety requirements
