Rip Curl is on The Search for a Purchasing Manager to lead our global purchasing team from our Torquay home base.

In this key role, you’ll lead and develop a capable purchasing crew to deliver accurate, timely and compliant purchasing outcomes across seasonal buy plans, sample and bulk orders, supplier operations and logistics. You’ll help keep product moving smoothly across our global network by building solid relationships with planning, product, sourcing, finance, supply chain, warehouse teams, licensees and suppliers.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is highly organised, calm under pressure and confident working across systems, data, suppliers and critical deadlines. You’ll be responsible for driving consistent purchasing processes, improving how we work, managing risk early and supporting strong delivery outcomes for the business.

What you’ll bring
Experience leading, coaching and developing a professional team.
Robust purchasing, procurement, production or supply chain experience, ideally within apparel,



footwear or consumer products.
Excellent planning, organisation and follow-through, with the ability to manage competing priorities and critical deadlines.
Robust systems, data and Excel capability, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Confidence working with offshore suppliers and cross-functional teams across product, planning, finance, logistics and warehousing.
A practical, collaborative approach to solving problems and improving processes.
