Looking for a welding role with variety, stability and no FIFO?

SCF is looking for a Welder / Container Repairer to join our Brisbane Depot team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll repair, modify and maintain shipping containers, working on a variety of projects rather than repetitive production-line welding.

You'll be part of an established team, working Monday to Friday in a stable depot workplace with consistent hours and plenty of variety in your day.

What you'll be doing
Welding and repairing shipping containers
Carrying out basic container modifications and fabrication work
Using MIG welders, grinders, drills and plasma cutters
Cutting, fitting and preparing steel components
Carrying out general repairs and maintenance
Painting and finishing repaired areas
Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work area
Working as part of the wider depot team when required

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is practical,



reliable and willing to train other team members when required.

You will ideally have
Welding experience, preferably MIG
Experience with basic fabrication and metal repairs
The ability to read and understand basic measurements and drawings
A strong commitment to safety and quality
The ability to work independently while also being part of a team

A forklift licence would be an advantage.
