About the role
You'll be involved in a variety of general practice nursing duties, working closely with doctors and the rest of the team to provide quality, patient-centred care.
Key responsibilities
Chronic disease management
Care plans and health assessments
Immunisations
Iron infusions
Wound care
Assisting with procedures, including skin cancer clinic
ECGs and ABPIs
Patient education
Patient recalls and follow-up care
Infection control and stock management
About you
A Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Experienced in General Practice nursing (not essential)
Friendly, caring and approachable
Confident communicating with patients and colleagues
Organised and able to work independently
Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team
Someone who genuinely enjoys getting to know their patients and providing quality care
Immunisation certification and experience with Best Practice software would be highly regarded, but aren't essential
