About Us

One Mama Midwife Antenatal Classes are dedicated to providing expectant parents in Brisbane with fun, interactive, and empowering birth classes. We believe that every pregnancy and birth journey is unique, and our goal is to empower families with the knowledge and confidence they need to make informed decisions on all available options. We are currently seeking a fun, passionate Registered Midwife to join our team and lead our hands on birth classes.

As a Registered Midwife at One Mama Midwife Antenatal Classes, you will play a pivotal role in educating and supporting expectant parents throughout their pregnancy. You will create a nurturing and inclusive environment where parents can connect, learn, and prepare for the birth of their child.

Key Responsibilities
Conducting engaging and informative birth classes for expectant parents according to the One Mama Midwife Course.
Providing evidence-based information on pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.
Facilitating group discussions and interactive activities to promote active learning and engagement.
Offering emotional support and guidance to expectant parents,



addressing their questions and concerns.
Demonstrating comfort measures, relaxation techniques, and coping strategies for labour.
Collaborating with a team of educators to continuously improve class content and delivery.
Staying updated on the latest developments in midwifery and childbirth education.

Qualifications
Current registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing midwife (preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Passion for empowering expectant parents and promoting positive birth experiences.
Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and preferences.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work weekends as needed for class schedules.
