The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced SHMS Specialists to support a major, long-term Safety and Health Management System transformation project within the resources sector.
Review and analyse existing SHMS frameworks, processes and documentation.
Support the redevelopment and alignment of management systems across multiple operations.
Facilitate workshops, risk assessments and stakeholder consultation.
Develop and review standards, procedures and other technical documentation.
Support governance, assurance, implementation and continuous improvement activities.

About You
We are looking for a confident Specialist who can operate autonomously and engage effectively across all levels of an organisation.
Mackay or Moranbah-based candidates preferred




Solid experience with SHMS, risk management and critical control frameworks.
Experience developing, reviewing or implementing management systems.
Excellent technical writing and analytical capability.
Solid workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Previous major mining organisation experience is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to bring a fresh perspective and identify practical opportunities for system improvement.

Monday - Friday roster, approximately 7:00am–4:00pm.
Two positions available.
Initial 6-month contract with solid potential for extension.
