Communications SpecialistBright Steps Academy | Central Coast NSW / Hybrid or RemoteFull-time | PermanentSalary: $100,000 - $120,000 + superannuationMake an impact through communication, creativity and connection.At Bright Steps Academy, we believe great early learning starts with strong relationships — with children, families, educators and the communities we are part of.We are looking for a Communications Specialist to join our Growth & Commercial team and play an important role in how we connect with prospective, current and future families.This is a hands-on opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys creating engaging content, building meaningful communication journeys and delivering campaigns that drive real results.About the roleReporting to the General Manager, Marketing, Technology & Commercial, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and deliveringcommunications across the family lifecycle.You will work closely with Centre Managers, Enrolments Officers and the wider Growth & Commercial team to strengthen family engagement, support enrolment growth, improve retention and build strong community connections.What you'll be responsible forDevelop and manage communication journeys for prospective, enrolled and existing familiesCreate engaging content across email, social media and digital channelsDevelop campaigns that support centre growth, occupancy and family engagementManage automated communication and nurture journeysUse Klaviyo, LineLeader and Owna to deliver timely and personalised family communicationsSupport centre events, community activities and local engagement initiativesPromote centre achievements, stories and successesStrengthen Bright Steps Academy's presence within local communitiesMaintain a consistent Bright Steps tone of voice across all family touchpointsMonitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvementWork collaboratively with Centre Managers,



Enrolments Officers and the Growth & Commercial teamWhat we're looking forWe are looking for a confident and creative communicator who understands how great communication can build relationships, increase engagement and contribute to growth.You will ideally have:3+ years' experience in communications, marketing, customer engagement or community engagementExperience developing and managing customer communication programs and journeysStrong written communication and content creation skillsExperience across email, social media and digital communication channelsExperience using CRM, marketing automation or customer communication platformsStrong project management and organisational skillsExcellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skillsA proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detailExperience within childcare, education, health or community-based organisations will be highly regarded.A qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or a related field is desirable, however equivalent professional experience will also be considered.Why join Bright Steps Academy?
