Job Description Summary The ANZ EHS Manager Services will be responsible for a team of frontline EHS resources and will work with cross functional leaders and customers to provide technical EHS support and oversight to ensure successful implementation and execution of all EHS expectations for the distributed operations of OΜ (Operation, Maintenance and Upgrades) they are responsible for.
They will also provide input and support the wider Wind Services EHS team as we work to build one successful organization.
This role requires deep knowledge and experience of regulations applicable to field service operations and familiarity with GE products and customers.
Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesManages and coordinates a broad spectrum of activities simultaneously.Lead, coach, and mentor a team of EHS resources.Provide oversight and governance to ensure EHS compliance with applicable management systems, programs legislation and standards for projects within their portfolio.Serves as an EHS expert for applicable regulatory and industry standard requirements for services activities within their portfolio.Ensure that their portfolio EHS performance is correctly being reflected in the relevant KPIs, partnering with the key stakeholders to develop action plans to address deviation versus expectations.Able to proactively partner and develop positive working relationships with customers, external agencies and contractors as well as internal cross-functional personnel.Provide oversight and governance to ensure EHS compliance with applicable management systems,
programs legislation and standards for Services sites within their portfolio.Ensure compliance and coordinate with the Cross functional team to ensure the implementation of both GEV and legislative EHS expected programs and training requirements.Support ITO/OTR and handover or response to customer queries for services within their portfolio.Supports all other demands as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or technical equivalent from an accredited college or university, or equivalent qualificationRelevant EHS experience in a professional EHS role overseeing the execution of EHS in projects or services environmentSignificant experience and demonstrated achievements with safety programs, industry standards, and regulatory requirementsCertified Environmental or Health and Safety professionalMedical fitness and ability to work at height per local and global standardsAble to coach and support key influencers to drive EHS compliance and the reduction of risk through team engagement and help develop an organizational culture that prioritizes EHS.Knowledge of EHS management systemsFluent English (verbally & in writing)Ability to travel 40% of the timeDesired CharacteristicsDemonstrated ability to organize, motivate and drive change and interact cross-functionallyStrong oral and written communication skillsConfidently able to facilitate and deliver training and or presentations to a diverse audienceAbility to influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goalDemonstrated ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience in projects/services environmentHigh energy, self-starterField experience in a project / services workplace, practical experience in risk managementHave domain expertise in one or more of the following: Electrical Safety and LOTO requirements, crane safety, construction safety, fall prevention, confined space.Understand lean and be able to apply lean principles.Trained to Global Wind Organization (GWO) basic safety standard.Additional language skills.As GE Vernova is a global organization, working across different time zones, and monitoring, reading and responding to contact outside normal working hours can be expected.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: Yes
