OverviewAWS is seeking Associate Systems Engineers – Windows to support secure cloud infrastructure environments within the AWS Region Services team.
This role is responsible for supporting Windows infrastructure, automation, operational systems and large-scale cloud environments across highly secure AWS environments supporting sensitive workloads.

maintenance and automation of Windows infrastructure environments across AWS cloud services.Supporting Windows Server infrastructure and Active Directory environmentsPerforming system maintenance, updates and patch management activitiesSupporting infrastructure automation and operational tooling initiativesSkills and experienceExperience in systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration or network administrationExperience scripting in PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby or similar languagesUnderstanding of networking fundamentalsStrong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skillsExperience supporting Windows infrastructure and Active Directory environmentsExperience with automation and tooling for large-scale environments highly regardedKnowledge of DevOps practices and tools including CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet or Chef desirableExperience in networking and systems troubleshooting desirableRequirementsAustralian Citizenship requiredMust hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Government Security ClearanceAbility to successfully complete an Organisational Suitability AssessmentAbility to participate in on-call and out-of-hours operational support as requiredAbility to work within highly secure operational environmentsJob detailsVacancies: 1
