Click here for details and contact the enquires person for further information.About the roleThe Senior Specialist - Workforce Planning, Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN) is accountable to the Executive Director, People and Culture and works closely with the Executive Director, Recent Women's and Children's Hospital (New WCH) Project to lead the development, implementation evaluation and continuous improvement of WCHN's complex workforce strategy and planning agenda.
The role provides specialist expertise and guidance for major workforce planning initiatives including the workforce transition and commissioning requirements associated with the New WCH Project.Key duties of the roleLead complex and sensitive workforce assessments across multidisciplinary teams to analyse current and future workforce capabilityLead the development and implementation of strategic workforce planning frameworks, strategies and forecasting models to optimise workforce capabilityPromote a culture of continuous improvement, evidence-based practice and quality assurance across WCHN workforce planning projects and programsLead strategic workforce planning initiatives, using workforce data, analysis and continuous improvement to align workforce capability with organisational and service delivery needs.Skills and ExperienceAdvanced leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders effectivelyExtensive experience leading complex workforce planning projects and programs within a healthcare settingDemonstrated experience in workforce planning, data analysis, research and workforce design to support strategic decision-makingHigh-level specialist knowledge of national and international standards in Workforce Planning and workforce design principles and contemporary practice.Enquiries can be directed toNatalie MorrisExecutive Director People and Cultureor Jane JenningsExecutive Director New WCH ProjectTo learn more about this role — including key selection criteria, special conditions and minimum requirements — please refer to the attached role description and the document checklists below:SS1 - Senior Specialist Workforce Planning - Role Description - ******.
