You'll take ownership of complex computer vision problems and help turn algorithms and models into performant, reliable systems operating in challenging physical environments.LocationSydney (3 days/week in office)SalaryUp to $160k + Super (DOE)What You'll DoDesign, develop and optimise computer vision algorithms across object detection, classification and trackingBuild high-performance, production-grade software using C++ and PythonDevelop and optimise real-time image and video processing pipelinesIntegrate cameras and other sensors into computer vision systemsDeploy and optimise AI/ML models across edge and GPU environmentsWork across multithreading, benchmarking and profiling to improve system performanceSolve complex problems across areas such as tracking, sensor fusion, 3D geometry and image processingWork closely with Software,



Machine Learning and Systems Engineers to take solutions from development through to productionTake ownership of technical problems and contribute to architecture and engineering decisions across the productWhat You'll Bring5+ years' experience across Computer Vision, Perception or Software EngineeringStrong commercial software engineering experience with C++Proven experience building and deploying real-world computer vision systemsStrong Python skillsExperience with OpenCV or similar computer vision frameworksStrong understanding of areas such as object detection, segmentation, tracking or image processingExperience developing performance-critical, real-time or multithreaded softwareExperience integrating cameras, LiDAR, thermal imaging or similar sensors would be highly regardedExposure to CUDA, TensorRT, ONNX, NVIDIA GPUs, GStreamer or other edge/embedded technologies would be advantageousExperience with tracking algorithms, 3D geometry, sensor fusion or control systems would be beneficialStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently own complex technical challengesis 100% committed to improving meaningful diversity in the technology industry.We partner with clients who embrace diversity and seek candidates across all backgrounds, abilities, genders, sexualities, cultures, and faiths.If you have the right skills and attitude we would love to hear from you!
