For this position, the candidate should possess knowledge of the Life Sciences sector, cybersecurity, and cyber intelligence so that they can research and articulate the threat landscape facing pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, medical device manufacturers, healthcare insurers, and healthcare providers, and translate complex intelligence findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and executive audiences.The Work:As a Life Sciences Analyst within the IIA team, you will report to the Lead of the Industry Intelligence and Analysis Team.
Your responsibilities include:Research, analyze, and produce finished intelligence on cyber threats targeting Life Sciences verticals — including Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices, Healthcare Insurance, and Healthcare ProvidersMonitor and assess emerging cyber threat actors,



threat groups, and campaigns with demonstrated relevance to Life Sciences clients and stakeholdersDevelop and maintain short- and long-term research projects that track threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and broader conditions affecting Life Sciences cybersecurity postureProduce written intelligence reports, threat assessments, and executive-level briefings tailored to both technical and non-technical audiencesCollaborate with peer analysts and industry specialists across the IIA team to ensure cross-vertical intelligence integration and consistencyPresent findings through formal briefings, external engagements, and client-facing deliverablesSupport Accenture sales and business development efforts as a subject matter resource, including participation in proposals and client conversationsContinue to grow and develop technical cyber intelligence and Life Sciences domain expertiseTravel may be required for this role.
The amount of travel will vary from 0% to 25% depending on business need and client requirements.Here's What You Need:Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, or a related disciplineMinimum of 2 years' experience and demonstrated knowledge of at least one Life Sciences vertical: Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices, Healthcare Insurance, or Healthcare ProvidersMinimum of 2 years' experience and demonstrated aptitude or experience in cyber threat intelligence production,



including:Familiarity with tracking and analyzing threat actors — including cybercriminal groups and state-sponsored actors — targeting Life Sciences organizationsUnderstanding of intelligence tradecraft fundamentals, including source evaluation, analytic confidence assessment, and structured analytic techniques (e.g., ACH, key assumptions checks)Experience or demonstrated ability to author finished intelligence products — threat reports, situational assessments, and written briefings — for diverse audiencesMinimum of 2 years' experience with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to Life Sciences (e.g., HIPAA, FDA cybersecurity guidance, NIST CSF)Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
