We are currently seeking a Production & Warehouse Technician to join a growing manufacturing business based in Somersby.

About the role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is practical, technically minded and enjoys working across production, assembly, testing and warehouse operations. You'll have the opportunity to develop your technical skills while working with electrical and electronic components, product testing and assembly.

Key responsibilities
Assemble products and sub-assemblies in accordance with drawings and work instructions
Complete electrical and mechanical assembly, including soldering, crimping, connector assembly and wiring
Program and test electronic products
Conduct final functional testing before products are dispatched
Record serial numbers, configuration information and production records
Receive, check and store incoming stock
Pick components and finished products for customer orders
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktakes
Pack and dispatch customer orders
Assist with freight bookings, collections and deliveries

About you
Hands-on and mechanically minded




Technically curious and keen to learn
Highly organised with robust attention to detail
Comfortable following drawings, procedures and work instructions
Confident using computers and learning current software systems
A valuable problem solver who can work independently
Reliable and takes pride in producing quality work
Comfortable working across both production and warehouse environments
Experience in electrical, electronics or instrumentation is highly desirable
Experience with soldering and crimping is highly desirable
